เป็นรายวิชาที่เน้นให้ผู้เรียนใช้คอมพิวเตอร์ในการเรียนมากขึ้น ซึ่งเป็นการฝึกให้ผู้เรียนเพิ่มพูนการเรียนรู้อย่างอิสระด้วยตนเองมากยิ่งขึ้น ให้ผู้เรียนได้รู้จักคอมพิวเตอร์ซอฟต์แวร์ด้านการสอนภาษา อีกทั้งแสดงให้ผู้เรียนได้ เห็นว่าซอฟต์แวร์ดังกล่าวสามารถนำมาใช้ในการเรียนภาษาด้วยตนเองนอกห้องเรียนได้อย่างน่าสนใจอย่างไร นอกจากนี้ ยังมีการนำเสนอแนวคิดด้านการศึกษาทางไกลต่อนักศึกษา การให้นักศึกษาค้นหารายวิชาต่างๆ ด้านภาษาทาง อินเตอร์เน็ต รวมทั้งให้นักศึกษาใช้ความสามารถของตนเองออกแบบ web pages สำหรับผู้เรียนภาษาอังกฤษ

A course focusing on the increasing use of computers in language teaching and learning leading to greater learner autonomy; introducing students to language teaching computer software and demonstrating how such software can motivate them to work on their English outside of the classroom and become independent learners; presenting the concept of distant learning, discovering various language courses available on the Internet, and designing their own web pages for English language learners.
