On December 19-20, 2024, Assistant Professor Dr. Neeranat Kaewprasert Rakangthong, Director of the Center for Educational Services, Walailak University, assigned the Admissions Office staff to participate in the 27th Higher Education Fair, themed “Choose Your Path, Shape Your Future,” held at Chakrabandhu Pensiri Hall, Kasetsart University, Bangkhen Campus. Over 50 higher education institutions from across the country joined the event, which was attended by more than 20,000 high school students from Southern Thailand.

At the Walailak University booth, the team promoted the university’s academic programs for the 2025 academic year under the Portfolio Admission Round 1.4, which opened for applications from December 1 to 23, 2024. The programs include offerings from 15 Schools and 3 International Colleges, with applications accepted exclusively via the online platform at entry.wu.ac.th. The admission criteria for this round require applicants to have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.50 over 4 or 5 semesters. Interested students can stay updated through the Facebook page “สมัครเรียน ม.วลัยลักษณ์”

The booth also featured brochures, interactive Q&A sessions about the application process, and various giveaways, ensuring students received comprehensive admission information. The event garnered significant attention, with students, guidance counselors, and parents visiting the Walailak University booth in large numbers over the two days.
