The Center for Educational Services at Walailak University held its first executive committee meeting of 2025 to discuss key strategies for improving educational services. The meeting covered student admission process enhancements, collaboration with external organizations, and the transformation of the center into a High-Performance Organization (HPO) to elevate efficiency and service quality.

On February 6, 2025, from 1:30 PM to 3:40 PM, the Center for Educational Services held the first meeting of the year for its executive committee at Chor Pradu Meeting Room, Walailak University Hospital. The meeting was chaired by the university president.

This meeting was honored by the presence of Vice President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sarawut Paliphote, along with deans from various faculties, including the School of Nursing, the School of Informatics, the School of Political Science and Public Administration, and the College of Veterinary Medicine. Additionally, the Director of the Center for Innovation and Learning, as well as the Director of the Library and Educational Media Center, attended the meeting.

Moreover, external representatives participated in the meeting as committee members, including Lecturer Phakdee Hemthanon, Advisor to the President of the Nakhon Si Thammarat Provincial Administrative Organization, and Lecturer Phakanan Suwanrat, Senior Educational Supervisor from the Secondary Educational Service Area Office of Nakhon Si Thammarat.

The meeting covered various discussions related to the development of education at Walailak University and collaborations with external organizations to enhance the quality and efficiency of teaching and learning. One of the key topics addressed was the improvement of student admission processes to ensure both quantity and quality. The committee discussed strategies to attract a higher number of qualified applicants while maintaining academic excellence, thereby strengthening the university’s reputation and educational standards.

Additionally, the committee emphasized the development of the Center for Educational Services into a High-Performance Organization (HPO). This initiative aims to enhance operational efficiency, improve service delivery, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. The discussion focused on adopting modern management strategies, leveraging digital transformation, and enhancing staff capabilities to ensure the center operates at the highest level of effectiveness. By implementing these strategies, the Center for Educational Services aims to set new benchmarks for excellence and play a pivotal role in advancing the university’s overall educational mission.
