Walailak University Presents “CES Smart Check-in” Innovation at National Seminar on Educational Services and Academic Registration Systems
On October 30–31, 2025, the Center for Educational Services, Walailak University, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Neeranat Kaewprasert Rakangthong, Director of the Center for Educational Services, participated in the National Network Seminar on Educational Services and Academic Registration Systems, held at The Grand Chai Phueak Nimman Hotel, Chiang Mai Province.
The event brought together 354 participants from 42 universities nationwide.
During the seminar, the Center for Educational Services showcased its innovation, “CES Smart Check-in”, a digital system designed for managing registration and attendance during the Royal Graduation Ceremony.
The system enhances accuracy, speed, and efficiency by replacing the traditional RFID card with a Barcode ID system, integrating real-time verification and reporting features.
Since its implementation in 2020, CES Smart Check-in has successfully ensured 100% accuracy between the number of participating graduates and degree certificates. The system significantly reduces errors, streamlines the verification process, and allows immediate access to attendance data.
This initiative is recognized as one of Walailak University’s best practices in applying digital innovation to enhance the quality and efficiency of educational services.
