The Examination Center of Walailak University, under the supervision of the Department of Local Administration, Ministry of Interior, has been appointed as the principal agency responsible for overseeing the overall administration of the competitive examination for the recruitment of local government officials and employees.

Thanachai Lhaolumpuk, staff member at the Center for Educational Services, Walailak University, earned a silver medal in the E-SPORT E-FOOTBALL category at the 41st Thailand University Staff Games “Tumpang Games,” showcasing the potential of university personnel in the digital era and promoting mental wellness and teamwork through sports.

On April 8, 2025, the Center for Educational Services at Walailak University hosted a cultural event to celebrate the Thai New Year (Songkran Festival 2025). The event featured a traditional water-pouring ceremony onto a Buddha image as a gesture of blessing and renewal, followed by the water-pouring ritual to pay respects and seek blessings from senior executives—a symbolic act of gratitude and reverence toward elders in the organization.

The Secondary Educational Service Area Office of Nakhon Si Thammarat hosted a workshop on supervision and evaluation planning on February 28, 2025. Experts from Walailak University’s Center for Educational Services, Mr. Khundee Lamsub and Ms. Porntip Phomseng, were invited as guest speakers to share insights on professional and personality development for educators, aiming to enhance adaptability and efficiency in line with national education policies.

On July 26th, 2024, Walailak University hosted the grand event “Be the First to Know TCAS68 at Walailak University” with more than 2,500 students from across Southern Thailand in attendance. The event took place at the main auditorium in Thai Buri Building, Lecture Hall Building 6, and the 300-seat conference rooms in Lecture Hall Buildings 5 and 7.
