On April 8, 2025, the Center for Educational Services at Walailak University hosted a cultural event to celebrate the Thai New Year (Songkran Festival 2025). The event featured a traditional water-pouring ceremony onto a Buddha image as a gesture of blessing and renewal, followed by the water-pouring ritual to pay respects and seek blessings from senior executives—a symbolic act of gratitude and reverence toward elders in the organization.

Staff members of the Center gathered to perform the water-pouring ceremony onto the Buddha image enshrined at the office, representing peace, serenity, and new beginnings in the Thai New Year. This was followed by the Rod Nam Dam Hua ceremony, in which Asst. Prof. Dr. Neeranat Kaewprasert Rakangthong, Director of the Center for Educational Services, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Kannattha Chaisriya, Deputy Director, were honored by the staff in a warm and joyful atmosphere, filled with smiles and goodwill.

This meaningful activity not only fostered a strong sense of unity within the organization but also promoted cultural awareness among staff members, encouraging the preservation and continuation of Thailand’s cherished traditions.
