The Examination Center of Walailak University, under the supervision of the Department of Local Administration, Ministry of Interior, has been appointed as the principal agency responsible for overseeing the overall administration of the competitive examination for the recruitment of local government officials and employees.

The examination is scheduled to be held simultaneously on Saturday, 15 February 2026, to efficiently accommodate candidates across the upper southern region of Thailand.
   For this examination cycle, a total of 42 test venues have been arranged across three provinces: Nakhon Si Thammarat, Surat Thani, and Krabi. The distribution of examination sites aims to facilitate convenient access for candidates, reduce travel-related expenses, and promote equitable participation in the recruitment process.
   The Examination Center has implemented a comprehensive and systematic preparation plan, including strategic venue management, the appointment of central and on-site examination committees, standardized examination room arrangements, strict security control of examination materials, and rigorous compliance with official regulations. These measures are designed to ensure that the examination process is transparent, fair, and fully accountable.
   In addition, close coordination has been maintained with relevant local authorities in each province to ensure smooth operations. Support systems have also been arranged to provide assistance and ensure the safety and well-being of candidates throughout the examination period.
