Background
History and present conditions
According to Section 6 of the University Act, B.E. 1992, The Center for Educational Services is an organization with the same status as an academic institution. It is one of the fifteen departments formed in Article 56 of the University’s first term, with the director serving as the supervisor and exclusively responsible for the organization’s missions and collaborating with a deputy director who fulfills the tasks of the director.
1997
The university had a process for allocating, which was made in accordance with the university’s rules during that period by Associate Professor Doctor Kanit Khaimook serves as acting director and Mr. Puan Pengseng was named acting deputy director of the Center for Educational Services by the University in 1998. Furthermore, the Center for Educational Services fully opened to the first generation of students on May 23 rd, 1998, coinciding with the university’s official debut on the first day of classes.
1999-2003
In 1999, the University issued Order No. 317/1999, to appoint an acting director of the Center for Educational Services, as follows: Associate Professor Doctor Wichit Ratanapanee; Associate Professor Doctor Poonpong Boonbrahm; and Associate Professor Doctor Supit Ritkaew.
In 2003, the University then issued Order No. 24/2003, naming Mrs. Wiphawan Cha-oom Pensuksan had been appointed as acting directors of the Center for Educational Services instead of the deputy director.
1999-2003
In 2003, the University appointed Associate Professor Doctor Supit Ritkaew as the director of the Center for Educational Services by issuing Order No. 5/2003. Additionally, by issue Order no. 471/2003, Assistant Professor Wiphawan Cha-oom Pensuksan is assigned as Deputy Director of the Center for Educational Services.
2007-Present
The University issued Order No. 8/2007, appointing Assistant Professor Doctor Supit Ritkaew as Director of the Center for Educational Services, and Order No. 376/2008, appointing Dr. Neeranat Kaewprasert Rakangthong as Deputy Director of the Center for Educational Services.
The Center for Educational Services is currently overseen by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, and the committees at the Center for Educational Services are in charge of monitoring the center’s policies and missions. The Center for Educational Services’s internal functions are organized into five divisions: the Administration and General Administration; the Department of Student Admissions; the Information System Analysis and Development; the Registration and Processing; and the Teaching and Examination Services.
