On December 23, 2023, at 9:00 a.m., Dr. Neeranat Kaewprasert Rakangthong, Director of the Center for Educational Services and Head of the Educational Service Center at Walailak University, along with Dr. Attanan Tachopisalwong, Director of the Center for Cooperative Education and Career Development, served as special speakers in a lecture on the development of the Smart Educational Service System to support Virtual University. This initiative aimed to enhance the skills of organizing the cooperative education information system at Walailak University for the Academic Promotion and Registration Division of the Office of the President at Nakhon Phanom University.

The opening ceremony was presided over by Assistant Professor Dr. Sittipong Intharayuth, Assistant to the President for Academic and Vocational Education, and Assistant Professor Dr. Pratchaya Thongpanich, Assistant to the President for Information and Modern Education. Teaching and learning support personnel from various faculties and colleges also participated in the project. The event took place in the conference room on the 2nd floor of the Digital Technology Building at Nakhon Phanom University.

Dr. Neeranat mentioned that the recent visit of Walailak University to Nakhon Phanom University embodies an exchange of collaborative work methodologies. This initiative is a tangible outcome of the synergistic partnership between Walailak University and Nakhon Phanom University. The collaborative efforts are directed toward facilitating knowledge exchange, the concomitant utilization of academic resources and information technology, and the concerted promotion of research activities to foster innovation and create new knowledge. This project aims to strengthen the competencies of supporting staff across domains such as teaching and learning, registration, curriculum processing, and cooperative education to leverage their acquired knowledge to develop collaborative information systems and Smart Educational Service System to bolster the Virtual University.
