On January 2-20, 2023, the admissions office of Walailak University’s Center for Educational Services, under the policy of Dr. Neeranat Kaewprasert Rakangthong, the center’s director, conducted a roadshow to schools in southern Thailand. The roadshow started with 30 high-quality schools with good relationships with the university. The tour aimed to increase awareness of the university’s admissions process, teaching system, and programs among students, guidance counselors, and school administrators in southern Thailand.
For the roadshow tour, the Admissions Office divided the public relations team into four routes

1.Narathiwat, Pattani, Yala
2.Trang, Phang Nga, Krabi, Phuket
3.Songkhla, Phatthalung, Satun
4.Surat Thani, Chumphon, Ranong

The activities consisted of providing guidance on admissions, information about the university, the teaching system of the faculties, and the courses, as well as recruiting students for the TCAS1.5 round, which was open from January 1-22, 2023.

Dr. Nirachat believes that the School Tour project in the academic year 2024 (Southern Region) was a great success this time because the number of applicants in southern Thailand increased by 4,938 people compared to the same round of applicants last year.
